Refund Policy
Our ebooks are delivered the moment you pay. Here is when we refund a book, and how to ask.
Last updated October 12, 2026
In short
- Not downloaded yet? Ask within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund that book in full.
- Each book counts on its own. In an order of several books, the books you haven't downloaded can still be refunded, even if you downloaded the others.
- Already downloaded? The purchase of that book is final, unless the file is faulty, can't be downloaded, or isn't the book we described. Then we send you a replacement file, or refund you.
- Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with.
Before you download
If you haven't downloaded a book, neither its EPUB nor its PDF, from the links in your order email or from My account, we will refund that book in full if you ask within 14 days of your purchase. You don't need to give a reason.
We look at each book of your order on its own. If your order has three books and you downloaded one of them, you can still get a refund for the other two. Downloading a book in one format counts for both: once you have its EPUB or its PDF, that book has been downloaded.
A book bought on its own is refunded at the price you paid for it. A book that came in a collection is refunded at its share of what you paid for the collection, divided between the collection's books in proportion to their usual prices.
After you download
Our ebooks are delivered immediately, so before checkout you ticked this box:
“I agree to immediate delivery of my digital download and I acknowledge that, once the download is made available, I lose my right of withdrawal (14-day cancellation right).”
We still refund the books you haven't downloaded, as explained above. Once you have downloaded a book, in either format, the purchase of that book is final and we don't refund it if you change your mind, except in the cases below. The other books of your order are not affected.
If something is wrong with your ebook
Write to us if, even after a download, your ebook:
- is damaged, or won't open in an app that reads EPUB or PDF files;
- can't be downloaded, from your order email or from My account;
- isn't the book described on its page on this site.
We will send you a replacement file. If that doesn't solve the problem, we will refund you in full. Before you write, How to read your ebook shows how to open each file on Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books and Kobo.
How to ask for a refund
Write to [email protected] or [email protected] from the email address you used to buy, or use the contact form and choose “Order, download or refund”. Tell us the book and the date of your order: both are in your order email.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, the card or PayPal account you paid with. Depending on your bank or PayPal, it can take a few business days to appear.
After a refund
A refunded book can no longer be downloaded, from the order email or from My account, and My account shows it as “Refunded”. If we refund only some books of an order, only those books stop working: you keep the others. Once a whole order is refunded, none of its books can be downloaded.
Payment disputes
Please write to us before disputing a payment with your bank: it is usually quicker. While a dispute is open, the order's books can't be downloaded, and My account shows them as “Under dispute”. If the dispute is closed in our favor, they can be downloaded again.
Your rights
This policy doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live. Our Terms cover the rest of your purchase.
