Kindle
- Download the EPUB file from My account or your confirmation email.
- Upload it with Send to Kindle, or email it to your Send to Kindle address.
- The book appears in your Kindle library on every Kindle device and app.
Apple Books
- Download the EPUB file on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- On iPhone or iPad, tap the file and it opens in Apple Books. On a Mac, drag it into the Books app.
- With iCloud turned on, it syncs across your Apple devices.
Google Play Books
- Download the EPUB file to a computer.
- Open Google Play Books in your browser and choose Upload files.
- The book appears in your library on Android, iPhone and the web.
Kobo and other e-readers
- Download the EPUB file to your computer.
- Connect your e-reader with a USB cable.
- Copy the file into the e-reader's storage, then eject it.

Yes. On iPhone and iPad, the EPUB opens automatically in Apple Books. On Android, we recommend ReadEra for the EPUB, and Adobe Acrobat Reader or Files by Google for the PDF.
Is my payment secure?
Checkout is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
Can I get a refund?
You can request a full refund within 14 days for any ebook you haven't downloaded. Once downloaded, purchases are final unless the file is defective, cannot be downloaded, or differs from its description, in which case we'll provide a replacement or refund.
What if the file won't open?
Write to us and we will help you get it working. If we can't, we will refund you. See our refund policy.
Will I receive corrected editions?
Yes. When an error is confirmed, it is corrected in the next update of the ebook, and buyers receive the updated edition at no cost.
Do you sell print editions?
Paperbacks are sold only on Amazon. The link is on each book page.
How do I know the facts are right?
Every book that makes factual claims names its sources, so you can check them yourself. If you find an error, report it through the contact form with the book, the chapter and the source that contradicts it.
Do your books take a side?
Some do, on questions Americans still argue about. When a book makes a case, its title and description make that clear, so you know before you buy.
Do you use AI?
Yes, and we would rather say so plainly. We use Claude for spelling and grammar checks and to support our research. Every book that makes factual claims names its sources, so you can check them yourself. The author portraits on this site were created with an AI image tool (ChatGPT). They start from the author's real face, and the AI sets the pose and style for a consistent look.
